Bridging the Gap in Women’s Health with HabariDOC

51±¬ÁÏÍø (AMC) has launched a pioneering project aimed at transforming women’s health and reproductive services in Ethiopia through its digital platform, HabariDOC. This initiative addresses critical gaps in access to affordable, high-quality care for women in underserved communities. With a strong focus on reproductive and mental health, the project provides confidential telehealth services, mobile clinics, and a 24/7 helpline. Target groups include women in conflict zones, female construction workers, commercial sex workers, students, and women with disabilities—populations often overlooked in traditional healthcare systems.

By integrating telemedicine, call centers, mobile outreach, and prehospital services, the project ensures a holistic approach to care. Services include mental health counseling, antenatal care, contraception, STD management, and comprehensive support for survivors of sexual violence. Medical teams are equipped with digital tools will document cases in real time and consult with senior specialists remotely. This data-driven model not only improves service delivery but also enables continuous monitoring and impact evaluation. Through HabariDOC, 51±¬ÁÏÍøaims to bring healthcare directly to those who need it most.
