Dr. Akeza Teameearned an Associate Degree of Arts from Hesston College, a BS in genetics from the University of Kansas, and his Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases (ID) at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Akeza is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases (ID) in the US and licensed to practice medicine in several states in the US. He is also one of the panel physicians in Ethiopia chosen by the CDC and the American Embassy to conduct medical evaluations for the US Embassy visa applicants. Dr. Akeza is the co-founder and Medical Director of 51±¬ÁÏÍø P.L.C.

Dr. Nebiyou Asnake earned his Doctor of Medicine degree degree and specialty in Internal Medicine from the Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. He is an experienced physician who has worked at various reputable healthcare facilities. He completed his sub-specialty training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany and Apollo Teaching Hospitals in Hyderabad and Chennai, India. Dr. Nebiyu currently works as a full-time Internist and Gastroenterologist/ Hepatologist at AMC.

Dr. Samson Bassa earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mekelle University and completed his specialty in Internal Medicine at Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. He has previous experience of serving both in public and private hospitals. Dr. Samson is a part-time Internist at AMC.

Dr. Abel Girma earned his bachelor's degree in Doctor of Medicine degree from Jimma University. He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine and subspecialty training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. He has been working in various public and private institutions, assuming different clinical, academic, and leadership roles. Currently, he provides various clinical services with emphasis on GI, hepatology, and digestive endoscopy-related conditions. The following are among the list of endoscopic services he provides;

• Diagnostic Upper GI endoscopy 
• Diagnostic colonoscopy 
• Band ligation for Esophageal varices and hemorrhoids 
• Endoscopic management of bleeding ulcers 
• Stricture dilation 
• Endoscopic placement of a gastric feeding tube 
• Polypectomy

Dr. Fitsum Dagmawi earned his Doctor of Medicine degree degree from Gondar University and also completed his specialty training in Pediatrics and Child Health at Addis Ababa University in 2014. He works as a Pediatric and Child Health specialist at Bethzatha General Hospital and also has served as its medical director (2019 - 2022). He has ample clinical experience by working as a pediatrician at 51±¬ÁÏÍø (as a panel physician for the US embassy visa applicants), St. Gabriel general hospital, Dagmawi Menelik referral hospital, Debre Markos referral hospital and Debre Markos University College of Medicine and Health Sciences (as an assistant professor), and Bahir Dar University.

Dr. Solomon G/Mariam earned his medical degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Athens, Greece. He completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Janeio Hospital, Greece, followed by a further 2-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Solomon is a member of the Greece Cardiologist Association and European Cardiology Association. He is board-certified to practice medicine in European Union countries. Dr. Solomon is a scientific associate of Janeio Hospital's Cardiology Department in Greece. Dr. Solomon is a part-time adult cardiologist at AMC.

Has earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Haramaya and attended his specialty training in Radiology at Addis Ababa University. He is currently working as a part-time radiologist at 51±¬ÁÏÍø.

Dr. Askalemariam Bikiss earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Mekelle University College of Health Sciences and received her specialty training in Psychiatryfrom Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. She is an experienced Psychiatrist who has served in differenthospitals, including Felegehiwot Referral Hospital and Eka Kotebe General Hospital. She is currently working at St. Paul's Hospital Millennium Medical College. Dr. Askalemariam is a part-time Psychiatrist at 51±¬ÁÏÍøand assists the US embassy in screening and treating travelers with mental illness and substance-related problems.

Dr. Yodit Endalamaw earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Gondar, College of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed her specialty training in Psychiatry at Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. She is currently working full-time at 51±¬ÁÏÍø.

Dr. Dawit Solomon earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Jimma University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences. He started his specialty training in Pathology at Suez Canal University, in Egypt, and completed it at the Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. Dr. Dawit has undergone several in-depth short and intermediate-term fellowship attachments on renal pathology at different medical schools in the US, including the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is the only pathologist responsible for dealing with renal biopsy at St. Paul Hospital Millennium Medical College and a part-time Pathologist at AMC.

Dr. Zelealem Debebeearned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Jimma University and her Bachelor of Science from King’s College in London, UK. Dr. Zelealem works as a nutritionist and dietitian at AMC.

Dr. Anteneh Tirusew earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Gondar College of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Anteneh is currently serving as a full-time general practitioner at AMC.

Dr. Genet Tsegaye earned her Doctor of Medicne degree from Mekelle University, after finishing her internship rotation at Ayder Referral Hospital. She is now serving as a full-time general practitioner at AMC. 

Dr. Lewam Zemichael graduated from Mekelle University with her Doctor of Medicine degree. She worked as a General Practitioner there under the Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine department. She is currently working at AMC.

Dr. Helina Belachew earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Addis Ababa University, School of Medicine. Following her medical education, she completed her internship at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, one of the leading medical institutions in Ethiopia. Currently, Dr. Helina is serving as a general practitioner at the 51±¬ÁÏÍø, where she applies her training and expertise to provide high-quality healthcare services to her patients.

Dr. Eden Haileselassie earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Mekelle University, Ethiopia. She is currently serving as a General Practitioner at 51±¬ÁÏÍø (AMC).
